Intended Use
This tube is a sterile, single-use container designed for venous blood collection utilizing negative pressure. It automatically draws a precise volume of blood, ensuring standardized sampling for clinical laboratory testing.
Working Principle
The tube is pre-evacuated to a controlled negative pressure. When punctured by a blood collection needle, atmospheric pressure pushes blood into the tube automatically until the pressure inside equals outside, achieving accurate blood volume.
Main Structure
- Test tube (PET or borosilicate glass)
- Butyl rubber stopper
- Aluminum cap
- Pre-added additives (coagulant, anticoagulant, separation gel, etc.)
Key Features
- Stable negative pressure, accurate blood volume
- Safe and closed system, reduces biohazard exposure
- Uniform additive coating, fast mixing
- Good compatibility with all automatic analyzers
- Sterile, pyrogen-free, non-toxic, non-irritating
- Various types for different test items
Classification (by additive)
- Clot activator tube (Red)
- Gel & Clot Activator tube (Yellow/Gold)
- EDTA tube (Purple)
- Heparin tube (Green)
- Sodium Citrate tube (Blue)
- Glycolysis inhibitor tube (Gray)
Application
Hospital clinical laboratory, physical examination center, CDC, blood station, in vitro diagnostic testing.
